Working principle of infrared thermometer, one color pyrometer is used to measure the surface temperature of objects.The optical elements of the 1C pyrometer emit, reflect and transmit energy, which is collected and focused on a detector that electronically converts this information into a temperature reading and displays it.The laser on the instrument is only used to aim at the object being measured.The field of view of the temperature measurment infrared pyrometer should ensure that the area of the measured object is larger than the diameter of the instrument's infrared circular spot.The smaller the target, the closer the one color infrared pyrometer should be to the target.When accuracy is important, make sure the area of the object being measured is not less than 2 times the measurement point.When the distance (D) between the 1-color infrared pyrometer and the measured object increases, the spot (S) increases accordingly.Locating a hot spot To locate a hot spot, align the industrial infrared pyrometer with the outside of the measured area, then slowly move the accuracy pyrometer up and down and scan the entire area until the hot spot at the test site is determined.
